Barack Obama is the perfect candidate for such a time as this. He is charming, educated, and appears to feel “our” pain. His background is one of hard work and knowing what the “little guy”is all about. Heck, just cause he went to Harvard doesn’t mean he can’t connect with us, he’s just smarter. In fact as the masses have said over and over ” has there ever been anyone such as him?” Barack Obama wants change. He wants change to begin with Health care. Barack Obama wants to provide National Health care to everyone–no questions asked. Everyone will be insured, even if they have preexisting conditions. However the Obama plan will also offer a premium plan, called National Health Insurance Exchange to help individuals who wish to purchase a private insurance plan. Meaning–those that can pay and want good health care will get it. What kind of health care do you think Mr. Obama is getting now as a Senator and will continue to get if elected President? Do you think he will go with the National Health plan he is touting or stick with the one all the senators and the President gets at Walter Reed Hospital?
Change. $ That’s a popular term with Mr. Obama. How about change in the economy. Mr. Obama’s policy for change there is this: He wants to Simplify tax filings for middle class americans. He thinks this will dramaticaticlly save up to 2 billions dollars in tax preparers fees and hours in aggrivation by having prefilled foms! Wow!
Obama will invest in rural small businesses and fight to expand high-speed Internet access. How about free cable too so we can watch American Idol while we look for $change in the sofa to take to the change counter at the store?
But wait, there’s even more! Barack Obama wants to feed the world! He has authored Senate Bill 2333. The Global Poverty Act. This act has already worked its way through the house and now is in the Senate. If passed it will require and indebt Americans ennormoersly when we are already facing higher prices for fuel and food.
The legislation itself requires the President “to develop and implement a comprehensive stategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proporation of people world wide between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day”. The bill defines the “Millennium Development Goals” a
s the goals set in the United Nations Millennium Declaration,55/2(2000).
So, Barack Obama will give you free health care, high speed internet and will feed the world. All he asks in return is……….everything you got.

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the post. But I’m dead serious about SB2333. While the American people are asleep at wheel, we will paying and paying for years to come unless folks wake up.
I enjoyed you blog also and will add it to my site!

Sarah,
I couldn’t agree with you more. This piece of legislature (MANDATING the US President to eliminate 50% of GLOBAL poverty by 2015) is designed to destroy us. And just how will SB2333 be achieved? It won’t! It can’t! We’ll be giving to every corrupt international official while the people in these impoverished countries will continue to suffer. The officials will hold us hostage for additional funding because the monies will NEVER, EVER, be enough. And by MANDATE we will just keep trying. Global poverty needs to be seriously addressed, but the real agents of change are their often inept and contaminated governments. Does this piece of legislature want America to correct and control these governments? That sounds counterintuitive to the anti-imperialist mantras so often hurled at America by the people in favor of this bill. Again, this is a lose, lose, lose nightmare, and mostly because it’s aim will not be achieved. I assume that the contrivance of those in favor of this bill is, “Who could ever disagree with such a noble concept? They’ll look brutish and inhumane.” And that’s probably how they’ll promote this to the public here and abroad, causing only more problems for America internationally. So is this a noble concept? Or is it really disingenuous in its design, meant to do more harm than good? Sorry for rambling on. But I’m glad you brought it up in your post — and you’re very right, “we are asleep at the wheel.”

And how will the U.S. afford these programs (health care, poverty relief)? We are $10 trillion in debt and climbing.
And what of the most critical issue facing the U.S., which few politicians will touch with a 10-foot pole – our fiat currency monetary system? The United States is headed toward economic collapse, and I don’t see anything from the Obama campaign addressing the issue. Only more spending which we cannot afford.

I couldn’t agree more Scott! The Dems answer is bread and circus. Lets buy votes and hope they don’t notice that “Rome” is burning!
